Jethro: red or purple bar?

Jethro is a ambilobe of many colors. I call him a red bar, a couple friends of mine tell me he's a purple bar? The first pic he is totaly at rest.The other pics are various colors he displays.What do you guys think? His first clutch is due to start hatching in about a month!

We paired him up with a franklin female franklin as suggested by vincent.Were hopping to produce some flame red to orange beard&background with red to blue bars! Im very excited about this project!

He looks red bar to me. the last pic looks like a tamatave and sambava cross. Really nice looking.

He looks good man!!! I see why they think he looks very Sambava. His coloration and U bar on one side makes him appear Sambava. However, I am pretty sure Eric doesn't have any Sambavas old enough to make eggs yet.
