Jelly's enclosure

Finally got up and running again thanks to a brand new phone with way better internet. So I had to post a pic of Jelly's rehab enclosure. He'll eventually get an upgrade to a bigger one. He's improving everyday. Gaining more weight although it has slowed down. This past Friday he was 73 g....only a 3g's in a week unlike the 5 he was gaining. I'm gonna get a pic of him tomorrow:)

Here's his enclosure.....it now has a bare bottom for drainage and sitting on dowels inside a shallow rubbermaid.

Looks good, but I would personally like more cover for him. In my baby veiled cage, I went and got a nice sized pothos, then replanted a quarter of it into a smaller 20 ounce plastic pot and hung it from the corner. I poked a hole in the pot with a hot ice pic and then used some pliers to make a hanger out of a coat hanger. I then used the pothos "vines" to spread all over the enclosure adding to the the amount of cover he gets in top portions of the cage.

He's got some more pothos now. I have a huge tree frog with nothing in it anymore but plants so I pulled more out. What about bamboo?? The old frog tank has some in it...the kind you see listed as "lucky" bamboo that are usually in a round bowl or etc.

Lucky bamboo is toxic. Regular bamboo isn't but will grow too large for the cage in a really short time. But it is a great material to use, cut into lengths, to build a scaffolding type structure.
