Jeffrey is acting weird

So I have had Jeffrey for almost a year. We got him from a friend that was having to downsize he pets. But he has been fine and seemed happy, eating regularly, acting normal. He seemed to want out of his cage alot but he woukd eventually settle in and be ok. We have all live plants, a dripping system, a misting system, plenty of branches and lighting is good. We have a long UVB light 2 heat lights (as he has a pretty big habitat) and he has 2 basking spots.
My point of this post is that he has been just laying around with his head down alot and he seemed to be SUPER thirsty. Like drinking the droplets off the branches and leaves and even out of the bottom of the plants which i have read is normal but it just seems excessive here lately.... anyways any advice?

Well, I have some questions for you.
Are you certain that your misting system is fully operational? Are your mist heads misting properly? What are your basking temps? Unless your enclosure is truly massive, just one basking area is needed. I have double sized enclosures and have just the one basking area that my chams will go to when they want to warm up. You want to also provide a cool area for when they choose to be cooler.
Has your cham been tested for parasites recently? Even if he has, get another fecal done just to be sure. If the parasites aren’t shedding their stuff, you can get a false negative result. Some parasite infections can cause increased thirst.
I would also advise getting some blood work done just to make sure his kidneys are functioning properly. What is his diet like? Is he mainly getting harder and drier insects, like roaches or do you regularly offer juicier feeders, like silkworms and hornworms?
