Jasper Drinking From Hand

For the past couple of weeks I noticed Jasper goes up to his little spot where his dripper is at. He waits for me to put the hose infront of his mouth so he can drink

Always forget to take videos/pics So here's a vid of Jasper drinking from my hand.

I've had chams who would drink out of my hand or directly from a syringe. I love this as its a nice way to interact with them and keep an eye on how much they actually take in each day. Basically any time I get a new cham I try to get them to drink directly this way. Some won't, but many do.

That is just too cool. He's also a great looking chameleon. I'm new to chameleons and just got my first couple of baby Amphiboles this summer. I just really like the look of the Ambanjas and that just might be my next chameleon.

I was planning on starting off my next chameleon with hand feeding and water. I think it's so cool how he's not scared of me or anything. Eventhough i have to force feed him with food/meds. He's super docile!

Thanks! Yeah i went through hell to get Jasper. Pretty much rescued him from a reptile store. Sold me him as a Nosy Faly, turns out his full Ambanja (spoke with the breeder) but he looks Ambanja x Ambilobe now with all these oranges and greens. My next cham will be a Ambilobe or Faly, very beautiful chameleons!

Yeah atfirst i thought he was holding his territory down haha. But he went up to me and started drinking water when i tried to adjust his hose.

But Jaspers alright. Still not eating

But today he went for a darkling beetle running on his vine. Had a thing of mealworms and they turned into beetles lol. I picked up some dubias today, so hopefully he goes for one tomorrow. I try to give him breaks from force feeding so i can allow him to attempt to eat on his own.
