These are everywhere this time of year. Great potential as feeders. They like eating grape leaves which are very nutritious(and most insects don't like eating grape leaves for whatever reason). I caught some and kept them in a deli cup for a couple days before feeding off.

Good idea. You can also find them all over corn fields on the leaves and stalks.

I do this too, everyone seems to love them! Point of clarification; we're talking about the scarab beetle Popillia japonica, not the ladybug mimics that are also commonly called japanese beetles
