Jade plant.

I just got a jade plant and put it in my chams cage and there are bite marks missing from the jade like hes been eating it... is this ok?

Anybody?? I cant find anything about others eating jade plants.

Jade Plant (Crassula argentea) is on the plant safe list so I would imagine it would be ok. Do you free feed? Could also be crickets looking for moisture.

they are perfect chomp marks, not chew marks. and i put like 6-8 crickets in there in the mornings before i leave for work.

My veiled Chameleon cages was exclusively made with Jade plants for many reasons. he would often eat the leaves. Never had a problem

I just ordered a big Jade tree for my chameleon. I've read numerous people saying their veiled chameleon loves to munch on the Jade leaves, with no ill effects. I decided to get one after constantly catching my veiled trying to eat the fake greenery in the cage. The fake is out, the Jade is in. She loves mustard greens almost as much as she does cockroaches and crickets, so she's going to go nuts for the Jade.
