jacksons: how old and what type

can anyone tell me exactly how old my little guy is ? i think he 6-7 months. i was told hes from Hawaii . hes 3 1/2 - 4 inches long. thanks . p.s im a little nervous now because i read that the jacksons from Hawaii have mites and are inbred ? lol sorry if it sounds dumb ...

Not sure about age but he is almost for sure a xanth.
