Jackson's Chameleon with white pustules

Hey everyone-I need help! I rescued a sickly looking Jackson's Chameleon from a pet store. Looks to be about 9 months & has 3 white, 'zit-like' pustules between the spines on it's back. Can anyone give me more info so I can help this grumpy gus get healthy? Thanks

First I just want to ask you if you really are in a position to rescue a chameleon? Do you have any chameleon experience? And if there are white lines on the back of the chameleon that would probably be worms that need to be surgically removed by a vet.

On top of that please fill out a "how to ask for help" listed at the top of the health clinic page and post photos as the others have stated.

I do have many years of experience with Veiled chameleons, but thought I would try to post to this site because I was trying to help a sick animal that was living in a less than ideal situation.

Many members prefer tho wait until you fill out the "how to ask for help form" prior to giving advice. We will also needs pictures of the spots you are referring too. With this we will be able to offer insight more accurately.

I ask that because rescuing a cham can result in 100's of dollars of vet bills. So I feel it is an appropriate question to ask. We have many people on here who claim they have rescued a chameleon but do not have any chameleon experience, that is also why I asked if you have experience. If you are trying to rescue a chameleon but have minimal or tons of experience changes how we will help the person helping the chameleon. But yeah think I am getting mad instead good luck with the chameleon. I would still recommend filling out the how to ask for help.

pictures would be great and the help form filled in with the info you know about him that will help us help you and him out lots. i think its great that you are doing what you can for this fella, its always nice to hear of chams that werent being properly cared for getting the care they need from someone with experience.
