I cannot for the life of me remember the name of that plant. I think it starts with a B.

I actually saw that just today and starting wondering. What do you think that could be? I will start researching now but any advise is great.

It looks like it could be some kind of abscess. I would look in his mouth and see if you can see anything along his jaw. Keep an eye on it, if it's not going any soon a vet visit would be a very good idea.

Here is a new pic from today. I tried to focus on the black growth. I did take a look in his mouth but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I just got lucky and got an appt this Friday (on my day off for) him to get a check up. I've been wanting to take him in for a general checkup recently. I sure hope I didn't wait too long
