Jackson Babies. Not prepared

So our Millie had babies, and we just noticed them today. I didn't even know she was pregnant. I'm thinking about putting a banana peel in her exclosure to attract fruit flies. Any other tips on how or what to feed them? I live in Hawaii, so buying bugs other than crickets and mealworms are next to impossible

Another option for feeding babies are some common pantry pests, bean and flour beetles. Bean beetles grow in black eyed peas and flour in flour. There are even rice ones. You might ask your friends and family to check their pantry. They aren't as common as they used to be.
The fruit fly culture will take several days to get going and has potential. Citrus works as well as the banana. Put it in a small container with a wee tiny hole in the top for the flies to escape in their cage.
