Ivy

I found a pretty little variety of ivy that would look great in the brev tank, but I haven't been able to find it on the safe plant lists. In looking at some of the pictures of other's set-ups, I noticed that someone has used ivy that looks like what I bought. It's hedera helix, variety curly locks. OK to use?

I've used ivy. In looking around (after the fact, and at someone's suggestion), I did find reports of ivy toxicity. I have never observed the slightest hint that my pygmies even considered munching a plant, and the feeders left it alone, too, but it's probably a bit of a gamble. I replaced it with Pothos when doing some recent cage remodeling.

I recommend getting a decent sized pothos. They hold water good, and are very viney for them to crawl around on.
