ivy plant

Pothos is okay, but other ivy plants are not recommended because they are considered toxic. Pothos seems to not have any ill effects when chameleons eat them.

Does panther chameleon eat plants? Or any plants considered toxic when eaten or when they just produce toxic gas?

Thanks.

Whether or not the animal eats the plants directly isn't the only issue. Some toxic plants will have the toxins absorbed through water droplets that land on the leaves. When your chameleon drinks, it can still be exposed that way.

Plus feeders might nibble on plants and then transfer it to your chameleon. Better safe than sorry in my opinion.
