Ivy had 40 eggs!!!

Ivy has been digging since 6:30 and its 1:35 and she is almost done burying them. She dug in the plant and not the laying bin...o well. I'll post on here when I get a count!!!

Well the guy I got her from guessed 34, I say 38 cuz she was HUGE. I'm givin her a few minutes(she just finished) and then I'm gonna count them! Anybody else? Better hurry!

I will say 39. How is she looking? skiiny obviously, but not too tired hopefully. Lots of water food and calcium for her then next week or so. Congrats! its so awesome when you have your first experience with eggs!

Well im glad to say you were the closest! 40 nice really white eggs! She looks skinny but ate and drank already plus she ate last night too! the eggs seem a little smaller than the clutch of "in fertile" eggs I had...is this normal? I have been had so much fun digging out the eggs and placing them in there temp. tupperware homes! Hopefully I'll get 40 healthy babies outta this!

Thanks for all the help gettin me ready for these things, I'm hooked 4 life!!!
