It Not Fair!

Well, I discovered today that one of Lily's relations is for sale in my town as his owner can no longer keep him. Judging by the pics posted there are so many things that I would fix straight away for him to improve his quality of life! I really want him so badly, but my hubby says no. I feel like I'm meant to have him - I could make his life so much better. Apparently he has a fear of fingers! Sounds like a healthy male veiled to me! I just feel way too emotional about him. I dunno, just wanted to rant a bit to people who understand! Chers guys and thanks for being there!

Lily you go out there and show them who is boss and take the male. Im sure you will give it a perfect life and tell your husband what you just told us in the thread. Beg him and it will probably work. Dont let this opportunity go. I know you can do it! Go Tiff Go!:)

Tiff, I work with my local animal shelter and I get a little discouraged because I can't save them all, but I am thankful for the ones that I have been able too. When I first married my husband, I had one cat. He said that was all we needed. We now have 13 cats, 4 dogs, 5 adult chams with 5 hatchlings, 6 geckos and 5 aquariums. Boy, he didn't know what he was getting into. Don't give up yet!!

Oh, I don't intend to! I usually get my way in the end! A little 'strike' can work wonders, lol!;) Haven't really got the room, but I'm sure I could fit his cage in next to the glider's cage. It would be easier to put the two chams side by side, but Amy's cage just fits into an alcove and I have nowhere else where I could have two together. Unfortunately the glider cage can't swap with Amy's cage as it's too wide. I'll have a measure just in case though! I just feel I need to have him. I have seen others in the past advertised, but I dunno, this one just gets to me! Must be something about him.

Tiff, go get your Cham..... cook hubby a slap up dinner... bat your eyes over a bottle of wine.... then break the news.... a full tummy and a glass or two should soften the blow!:D:D:D Am sure he'll come around once he gets to know him.;)

Do you have a friend who could house him for you? You can commit to taking care of him and the supplies but let the friend keep him at their house?

Oh Tiff!I am sure this is a sign!especially if he is not being kept in the right way,us ladies can always get round the hubbies!:p,dinner, wine, foot rub...in that order should do the trick,if that don't work!!!threaten divorce:rolleyes::p!let me know how you go:)

After we lost our beloved weiner dog, we both swore no more dogs...not enough time to care for them, etc......but......one day I saw an ad in the paper for a poodle and just "felt" I should go look. Long story short, Gus and I fell in love at first sight and he came home with me. The hubby was not too pleased at first, but accepted the fact after a couple hours. Now they are best buddies. Come to think of it, that's how we got our second poodle too, Coco. LOL I figure if I am going to take care of the pets, and we can afford the pets, and no one is harmed by the pets being here....they can just get over it. Get your cham, you won't regret it.

Tiff don't wait too long, call or email the people and tell them you have to get stuff set up but you really want the cham. Also explain to hubby not getting this particular cham will break your heart. Just go for it. Use the beg forgiveness rather than ask permission.:D:D

A little trade might work better than sly female manipulation :)

Though its specific to Oz ( I think, I know theres an international day), Happy fathers day to all the Dads of cham forum. :)
