It snowed last night! Yippee! I know it's nothing to the amount of snow you American and Canadian members get, but to us it's a LOT! Just a few pics of my local roads, etc. :D :D :D

I hope you didn't leave any chameleons outside on your plants! :D

Great pictures Lily!! Do you think the snow will stay for a while, or does it usually melt fast??

We had some in January although less than this and I couldn't get the car down the steep drive for a week! Good job I stocked up on livefood for the chams on Tuesday! The main roads are being ploughed and gritted, but I live half way up a hill so not gonna even try and get the car to the main road for a good few days yet. Luckily it's a 10 min walk to the nearest supermarket and there's a local shop just up the road! We haven't had this much snow so early in winter for almost 20 years! More pics will follow later - going to walk along the riverbank this afternoon!:D

Yeah the French news even talked about how early the snow was for you in UK!! This is crazy how a few centimeters of snow can be a problem for you, while we don't even notice it here!! :) And at least you are a good chameleon keeper and were prepared! :)

Its a joke in this country man, we get snow the whole country stops. Other countries must laugh at us. I've been to work once this week as the roads are so bad. Ok rant over, lovely pics Tiff i really like the one with the river. Pweety! :D:D

Oh have you showed Tommy and Amy the snow? (not outside of course) :p Me and Mia stood at the window and watched it come down. :D

All schools on the Island have been shut for two days and both my kids have been out sledging on the hills! Hopefully everything will be back to normal by Monday - I have to go to work! I live half way up a hill and my driveway is steep, so it's too dangerous to get the car out. Will try and clear the snow away over the weekend. The sun has been out for an hour but it's beginning to go down now. The main roads are ok and clear, but getting to them is a huge problem - my road is like an ice rink - not fun at all! It was fun yesterday but once it becomes compacted and icy the funs ends!
