Is this safe to feed?

Can I feed this to my Cham? These are all over the place in my yard all of the sudden. Looks like a small butterfly. About an inch long maybe slightly larger.

Also this thing landed on me at the park. It looked like a cross between a stink bug and a grasshopper. It was big ( about 1.5 inches )and looked like it was made of armor. Very crunchy hard shell. It was to big for my Cham but just curious. Never seen anything like it.

I looked up Pine Sawyer Beetle but that's not it. It's funny to come across two bugs I've never seen before. I guess when you have a Cham you start to notice bugs a lot more.

The butterfly is a Long Tailed Skipper. We have a slightly different variety here in Texas, but I use them as feeders often. Easy to attract and easy to net.

Thank you, they are easy to catch and they are everywhere all of the sudden. I've been giving my guy dragonflies and while netting them I kept catching these. I will see if Elvis likes them tomorrow.
