Specifically the brownish stripe coming from his arm to middle of his body.
Up close it looks like cracking skin

I’m not sure if these members are here tonight but if they don’t answer your post tonight, they’ll see it tomorrow. Hang n there. Welcome by the way! Your little Cham is so cute!

Looks like normal shedding to me. They can start shed on a limb or head and jump to a different part of the body. That's normal. That last pic I'm not seeing anything. Am I missing something??

Thank you! First reptile, first shedding. Wanted to make sure it was associated with shedding and not something wrong.
Appreciate the help.
Yeah not a problem at all. Any more questions don't hesitate to ask. There is some very chameleon wise people on here. Enjoy!

The line could be normal, though I'm not familiar with the look of a veiled. With that said, I'd like to know what the basking temperature is.

The shed itself is looking perfect! There's nothing you should be worried about in regards to him shedding--you are doing everything right by the looks of it!

Looks like @Chameleoking beat me to it, but yes, filling out the form below would be best! This way we can help you get everything squared away while he's still nice and healthy.

I see his eyes are closed in first pic. That is not a good thing. Also your humidity should not exceed 50% max in daytime. 30% is even better. And 70 to 100% humidity at night.

Also the fogger. Although it is totally cool to have, it can raise the risk of respiratory infection. So if your daytime humidity is usually 80 and your humidifier is always on your little buddy is at extreme risk of respiratory infection. And may be the reason he's closing his eyes in the daytime. I'm no telling you what to do. But for your chams sake I'd take the humidifier out. Veileds are a hardy cham and do just fine without them.

Oh yes at 9:00 pm he should be sleeping but all light must be off and if you decide to keep your humidifier. Only run it when the temps in enclosure are below 67°

He should not be disturbed while sleeping. And it is important to have all lights off. 12 hours on. 12 hours off

I love the enclosure set up by the way. Love the humidifiers too. But I learned the hard way and lost a cham several years ago. And it ended up being a respiratory infection. So I've never used one on the veiled I have now. He's 6 now

Very good to know, I think going into this I somehow got the understanding to keep it “tropical”
I will definitely adjust the humidity level/schedule. Thankfully I only got the fogger a week or so ago so hopefully he’ll be fine.
