If you are misting him directly, it is probably because he does not like it. Mine shakes his head if i get water on him.

sometimes i mist him directly sometimes he likes it and sometimes he runs away.. but when im spraying around him on the plants thats when he starts to do it.

Small droplets are probably getting on him and he is not enjoying it. If he doesn't shake his head all the time, it's more than likely just because he does not enjoy getting wet. My male veiled Kink does it every time I spray his cage, even when we are on opposite sides of each other. Nothing to worry about.

My pissy girl Darla does the same thing... She hates me and hates anything to do with me which includes me misting her cage. When the mist hits her she twitches her head and sometimes will shake her head aswell. No worries!

How old is Rango? They will often grow to like it, like a fine whisky......
If it's fine and warm mist then be gentle at go at Rangos pace, he'll start to tolerate it and then one day (like with my 8 1/2 month old Veiled last week) he'll just turn round and start drinking and run into the mister. He's taking his time shedding right now and I'm misting extra - he's loving it!, Running to meet me at the door to the 'Worlds only Wardrarium',

around 3 months not 100 % sure since i wasnt told o=how old he was when i bought him.. but i posted a thread with a pic of him to see if people could give a estimate of the age and most where saying around 3 months

Yup my guy Stanley used to HATE it and would flee at the hint of mist... Now he just sits there staring at me like "is that all you've got punk" and my new addition Herbie HATES it more than Stanley did lol

with rango its weird he only likes to get misted in the morning and when i get home from work sometimes... any other time he runnss!!
