Is this normal for my male panther chameleon?

My male Ambanja chameleon is always hugging his vine. He is under the lights but I feel like I've read if they're doing this it's not good. He is eating and will move around, just most of the time he's clinging to the vine. I got a pic of him, probably normal behavior just want to be sure.

Looks fine to me. He is just chilling.

Good. Just have read stuff about bent legs, not much motion, and constant belly to branch. And just realized I didn't mention he'll puff up and hiss and swing at his sides, just like he would if a cricket was crawling on him. And this is with me nowhere near him, when I get close he'll stop too. But was worried that meant his bones hurt...

Sounds more like he is getting stressed, and upset about something. Look and try to find what's irritating him.

Yah I agree they do like to just express themselves sometimes.
Yes indeed...doggie love poop on the grass, cat like to scratch on the sofa, cham like to hug the vine....maybe his belly is itching who knows....i wish I have a tree in my room so whenever im itch in my back,i can go rub against it..why not:)
