Is this moth safe?

husband brought in a pair of mating moths. Which are now in a 100 gal Reptarium. I can't find info on if they are safe. They are
Ceanothus Silk Moth Hyalophora euryalus

When I feed silk moths I check to see what their larval food plants are to see if any are poisonous.

Not sure about that species Laurie, but I would recommend the same thing as Todd.

The larvae food plants are lilacs. The lilacs are safe. I am also concerned because the caterpillar look sort of spikey looking.

Most silk moth caterpillars have hairs that can be irritating to chameleons (or any predator for that matter) but the moths are fine to feed.
