Is This Gravidity?

This is my veiled girl and she has been showing these striking stripes since maybe around one or two days ago. Is she gravid? Just wanted a second opinion, or more I have a very small bin with sand at the bottom and if I notice her digging or putzing around in it I am going to move her to a large sand bin so she can lay her eggs in a large place. I unfortunately can't fit anything bigger in the cage, so that is why I am going to take her cues. Here is a pic from just now. She doesn't seem egg heavy to me, but sometimes she spreads her stomach it when she is in deep-bask mode to get warmer. When she is just walking around, she is paper thin. Opinions?

Edit: I bought her from *ugh* Petco on In February 2, 2016 so she should be sexually mature, but she doesn't really show mature colors. I think there were some health complications from Petco. I will always regret that. She just grew a whole lot so her growth was definitely delayed. At her one year mark, she was ask big as a four month old. She is finally getting to be normal size.

Also, she NEVER wants to sleep. I turn her lights off around 6 or 7, and then it takes her literally an hour of wandering the cage to find a spot. I know this means she wants to lay eggs, but she has been doing this for over a year and no sign of eggs. She will go to the bottom of the cage and back up to the top over and over but she won't touch her sand bin. I am stuck! She has confused me for so long and I haven't got any answers.
@ferretinmyshoes do you have any suggestions? I might need to get her to a vet but it is nothing urgent, which is why I am holding off. She eats and drinks like normal. I feed her every three days, around 3 times a week.
Is it even possible for chameleons to have a mental disability?

Your Cham is not gravid. It will be very obvious when she is. I can always see and feel the individual eggs in mine when she is close to laying.

So she is at least 2.5 years old, has she never laid before? I’m asking because if she is 2.5 then you should have seen her gravid colors by now and readily recognize them. Are you sure it’s a she?

Having a restless Cham does not always mean they want to lay eggs. It is one of many possible causes but by no means the only one...

No one can figure it out. I mean, I have asked before. But she randomly just changed colors permanently and I don't know if she is just finally maturing, or it's something more worrisome.
I just thought that combined with her new colors it could be eggs. Why do you think she wanders around? I feed her, mist her plenty, and she seems happy. Maybe I am just being paranoid . . . ?

@chamrynthecham22 PetCo more than likely didn’t change the bulbs when they should and probably got stressed if there were enclosure mates. If I was you I’d let it free range outside depending on the temperature where you live keep a very close eye on your chameleon if you decide to do this. Is your chameleon’s mouth open a lot that you have noticed? What are your temperatures/humidity? Has it ever had a hard time shedding? What does the fecies look like? Does your Chameleon climb on the screen at all? What type of lightning are you using? Do you hear weezing when it breaths? How is your chameleon’s grip strong=to the point it brings slight discomfort when you hold your chameleon or weak/extremely loose grip? How often do you clean the enclosure? Do you let the enclosure dry out in between mistimes? The reason why I ask how often you clean the enclosure is it could have mites possibly or fungus. How big is the enclosure?

No to what? I asked you multiple questions.

Oh my apologies, I didn't see that previous post. Her cage just has sticks and stuck on the bottom, and it is hard to get a laybin down there. Even if I could put one in there wide enough, the depth wouldn't be enough. I have a pothos hanging that reaches a few inches above the bottom.
That is the weird part, she has never laid before. I think I said 2016, but it was 2017 when I got her. So she is almost 2 years old. But she has never shown any other color than shades of green before. Now is why I am questioning because she usually only shows these colors when I need to take her out of her cage and she gets angry and defensive. She is showing them all the time now. She is still acting normal. I think that she was wandering around because she was hungry, because after I fed her yesterday she was fine. I will see what happens tonight.

I don't know how she could be male. I could show you a picture of her back feet if you don't believe me, but there isn't even a trace of a foot spur back there.
I can't figure it out! It's like she isn't a male or a female. She doesn't even touch the sandbin unless she needs to walk across it to chase down an escaped roach.

Her enclosure is the large screen enclosure. She has a standard incandescent basking bulb and a 10.0 UVB. I haven't bought a linear UVB for her yet, just waiting for this UVB bulb to run its course.

If she’s from Petco and she was deprived of nutrients when she was young it’s entirely possible that her reproductive system did not develop correctly, she could be sterile.

Do you think that could potentially shorten her lifespan? I never know what to expect with her but I make sure she has all of her needs met. A few weeks after I bought her, she wasn't drinking from the mist and she was severely dehydrated. I knew for sure she was going to die before morning one night when I remembered you can test for life by dripping water on their nose. I did that, and she started drinking and perked up within seconds. She drank too quickly and too much and ended up throwing up, but either way that's how I figured out it was dehydration. I think that may have hindered some growth as well. Long story short now she eats and drinks like a champ. She just went through a humongous growth spurt, which makes me feel so happy for her.
Thank you so much for helping me out! I have been wondering about her for so long and I have never gotten a detailed answer, but at least now I have something to go off of!

I’m no vet but I can tell you that whatever she went through defanitly won’t be extending her expected lifespan. It’s all a matter of how much. Just keep an eye on her waistline, if you ever see or feel any eggs in there be sure to give her a proper bin ASAP.

I make sure to keep a close eye on her. In other news, I saw some blue coloring on her casque today so perhaps she is finally maturing, since I have never seen blue on her before. No sign of it today, but hopefully it shows up again. Thanks for all of the help, it eased my stress a bit. If I sense that she is getting eggs, I will probably re-organize her cage setup so that she can easily access a large laybin. Thanks :)
