At night my room gets to about 70ish. So the cage would be around 70-71, jw if this is okay to have for a veiled at night

I would not allow a baby to get that cold. I would keep a night temp for a baby no lower than 70.

for a veiled? 65 would be ok. Just be sure to bring his temp up in the morning. but the warmer the better (70-75) in order to keep the body internals cooking.

at an older age a veiled can hand 50*F just fine.
