i assume this is a male. it was sold as a female and it was brown and pick for the longest time but all of the sudden 1 day it changed. its about 6 months old.
i assume from the color and the buldge in the tail it is a male.

Yes, you are correct, the colour and hemipenal bulge are sure indicators that you have a male there.
