Is this a bruise on my chameleon?

I found this spot a few days ago, all the research I’ve done suggest it’s a bruise?
Do y’all agree or do you think it’s something else.

1 vote for bruise or "abrasion". Just about any "trauma" causes it. He could have done it by manhandling a branch he was trying to get a round to save time.

Yes that is a bruise. Just happened to mine today because he got caught in between two branches :/ I wouldn’t stress about it
