Hello people, I'm going to be building some vivs out of wood, mesh top and doors don't worrie, and I'm wondering can I paint the inside white with water proof paint? There will be a drainage system in each viv, I just want to be 100% certain before I go ahead and do it, thanks

look at something that is mold/mildew resistance like zinnser brand perma white. They use microban which is good at controlling mold/mildew.

There are some reptile-safe paints you can use that are waterproof. The guy that made my cage used that.

I have wood frame cages. I use zero VOC arcylic latex and have no water issues (water doesnt sit in puddles in my cages for long periods of time, but they do get splashed and sprayed regularily). even the oldest cage (about 10 years old now, repaited a few times) is holding up fine. No rot. also Used paintable caulking in all seams.
