Is temperament passed on?

I know that breeders choose potential pairs hoping for certain colors, etc. But can temperament also be bred or passed on in chameleons?

I love Ophelia's temperament, she is such a joy. I started thinking about what I'm going to do when she passes. It's been a lot of work so far (totally worth it) and I don't want all of this knowledge I have gained to not be used/useful. There has been a couple posts lately where a cham has passed without a clear reason and it makes me sad and I don't want that to happen to Ophelia but sometimes you're just not in control 100% ... I'm rambling, sorry. All this to say, I would love to have a fertile clutch at least once, so I could keep one her babies. But it would make it so much better if there would be a chance to have a baby with her temperament... hence my question. I need to find her a chill boyfriend :p
