is shower needed?

Hi!
My question is if showering my cham is really necessary? My female veiled is over one year old, I've had her since she was only a few weeks old. I've never showered her but I'm reading a lot lately about this here.
She never had any problems with shedding or dehydration, I mist at least twice three times a day, but if I can, I do it even more. She also drinks from a hand dripper (like an eyedrop dripper, I don't really know how to call that), daily.
I was wondering if I should do it, or what benefits it has?
Thank you for the answers!

Can anyone help on this one? I'm really curious if I'm missing out on something or not!

I never shower my chameleons unless they have an illness that requires a shower or they are dehydrated. Normally misting and dripping is all that they need.
