Is she pregnant?

This is my new Jackson chameleon. She looks extremely pregnant to me. She suns herself a lot at the top of the cage. Doesn't move around a lot. Eating and drinking normally. Do you think she is pregnant from these photos? Help!

She does look chunky.

She could very well have babies.

Where did you get her?

Looks like she's showing her gravid colors too. From what I've read, my guess is yes. Do you know how old she is?

Hi Thanks for the info !
I picked her up at the Repitile show in Taylor Michigan Yesyerday (Second Saterday of every month) , I went looking for a femaile Jackson and I saw her (largest female they had of the three). The vendor told me she was at least 1-1/2 old or 2 yeras old. I picked her up form a vendor (Repitile Addicts from Lockport NY). He had a wide range of snakes and other exotics, and chameleons.

Was she showing those colors when you got her or did that change after you hit her home?

had that vendor had her the whole time?

HI kieonii and camimom the info I have on her is that he had her since a baby and that he raised her. She was in a repitile display case that holds the (Yogert container cups). He had 3 females, 5 males, all in different containers. He also had Gracefull, Veilds and Panthers. I picked the biggest female he had. I'm thinking about get a pair of gracefulls from him.

Also when I got her, her color was just a Yellow brown. (Not the color in the pictures.

At the show, was she ever in contact with a male?

She does appear quite plump..

If she never had contact with a male, then she cant be preggo.

but, the vendor may have had her near a male at some point.. and it doesnt take long.

Hi she was by her self when I got her. I do not know if the Vender had a male with her, may be at one time, I can only speculate.

I would get a second cage ready just in case she does indeed have babies.

I was at that reptile show as well! Many chameleons that looked rough. Posted a thread about one, too, with a chipped mouth. She looks awesome, though. Exciting if she has babies! Good luck!
