My female veiled was mated 3 months a go and laid she then went receptive again and was climbig over the cage looking for a mael. Today i walked passed my males cage andshe showed gravid colours and started gaping does this mean she has retained sperm and is going to lay another clutch:confused:

She'll probably work on another clutch soon if she isn't already. They can cycle at least 2 clutches from just one mating. You're gonna be busy with all those little green friends when they hatch, lol!:D

I think your female laid about the same time as mine. Camille is steadly gaining weight and roaming all over the house so I'm bring in the laying bins today. They can retain sperm and they often do lay a second clutch 2 to 3 months after the first and they can be fertile. Jann

yh she laid about a day after chamille did u mate her with your male again my female was trin to get out for about 15 days trying to find a male

how are your eggs doing jann i lost 14 out of 74 and when i candle mine i can see the embryo. Its juat a couple of days over two months for mine

Some of mine were smaller and yellow to start with. They deflated but the rest are big and white. I never touch them and my daughter, that breeds told me to just leave them alone so I only check on them every now and then.

It sounds so 'eggciting' to have eggs incubating! :D Dunno if I would have enough patience to wait THAT long though, lol! I'd want instant babies - I'm no good at the waiting thing. :D

i know its been two months and i just want them to hatch now ive had offers fro petshops from £15-£25 pound each so ive practically got rid of them before they have been born

I don't know about your pet store there but our here are horrible! I am going to try to find good homes for Luie & Camille's babies.

oh i know about your pet shops. Ours are so much better there is one like petsmart but they dont sell chameleons luckily. Our reptile shops are great one of ours has recntly set up their own mini zoo for abandoned animals has 4 full grown crocs and loads of reascued chams and big pythons I know alot of reptile shop owners personally anyway and i know they care about there animals as much as i do
