My female veiled is about 4 months and is about 23 grams the last time I weighed her was a month ago and she was 11 grams. Is this a healthy increase or should she weigh more? Thanks!

Determining if her weight is healthy or not is impossible without pictures. Veiled chameleons have a highly variable growth rate so some will be larger than others at 4 months of age. So make sure to take pics from multiple angles. My female veiled is about 4 months and is about 23 grams the last time I weighed her was a month ago and she was 11 grams. Of course no problem here you go! The last two photos are from exactly 1 month ago where she weighed 11 gramsDetermining if her weight is healthy or not is impossible without pictures. She doesn’t ever hang upside down near the light she usually basks an a branch nearby. The dark areas around her toes used to worry me too but they’ve always been there even since when I got her. The dark areas only show up when she darkens as well so I’m pretty sure it’s nothing to worry about. The pictures attached are from when I got her about a month ago and if you look at her back legs you can see the dark pattern is there even before she entered her cage. Like I said before I don’t think it’s anything but a second opinion is always valuable so what are your thoughts? She looks to be a healthy weight to me. Little cutie! I am curious about her feet though...the black/dark areas around her toes. Does she ever climb the enclosure top and hang upside down near the lights?
