I have a baby Ambilobie Panther that is about 8-9 weeks old.. I posted pics on here before to get guesses on sex.. I got different answers but most said male.. but after looking at pics on here with different votes and stickies that explain,... I'm still hesitant to call it a "he".. when i posted the pics, the baby was about 6 weeks.. was that still a little young to b sure? is 9 weeks still tricky? I'm confused! some ppl say it a for sure as soon as they hatch.. others say it may still be developing... i honestly dont see the bulge that i CLEARLY see on some of your guys' pics! but then again.. maybe it depends on age..

You can sex them 100% accurately out of the egg.

Edit: Looked up your thread and you definitely have a male! Lance is one on here that you can trust 100% to tell you the right sex. He also said male. Yours was easy!!

Thank you... I think maybe I'm just being paranoid.. its just that sometimes i look at "him" and i dont see a bulge like it looked in the pics i posted.. lol.. but then i saw a thread on here that sometimes its more accurate in a picture..

Sometimes its still possible later but usually not that's why some sellers will not guarantee sex at that age. Breeders will identify after they hatch and house accordingly.

Not 100% thats why some are sold wrong sex sometimes. After they hatch their tail develops making it difficult between the age of 1-2 mos.

I see both points but I think there only sold as the wrong sex by bedroom breeders, if you buy a Cham of a quality breeder with a good reputation you get what your paying for, I havnt been breeding nearly long enough to argue over this but I've always managed to sex my panthers correctly without any issues

bedroom breeders? maybe but ive seen "quality" breeders miss one here an there too so they arnt immune toit

Yeah what??? No breeder bedroom or not can sex correct everytime unless they are a hatchling or until they develop a bit of their manhood. The between stage is rough thats why most NON bedroom breeders will sex and house accordingly after hatch. Some might get it right 99 % of the time while others 85% but still. Very hard to do if you mix em up and try to sex a month later. To make a bold statement like 100% is a bit much but hey I admire your confidence.
