Is Ringo depressed?

I dont know if this really ever happens but every since I had to sell Angel, ringo hasnt displayed any colors and is most of the time really dark. :( He eas just fine and even though I havent seen him drink his eyes arent sunken in and his poop isnt orangeish. He wonders his cage like normal. But before I sold Angel it was like he sensed her in the same room and always showed some colors. But now he's really dark and seems unhappy :(

Could he be missing her?

Could they see each other? It is possible, but he was probably just showing off his colors cause he was wanting to "get some" if ya know what I mean! In general, my chameleons are pretty dark when they are in their cages indoors. They really brighten up usually when I take them outside. Have you tried taking him outdoors to see if his colors change?

He wont come out of his cage... He's still unsure about it. They seen each other 3 times, 1st time was when I first got them and didnt know they needed to be seperated so I put them in the same cage (that was when they were little tiny babies); 2nd time was when he left his cage to explore, and 3rd time was when she left her cage and got into his cage.

try opening up the cage door and get yourself a large potted plant for him to climb on. He may or not venture onto the plant. If he does, then take the plant outside but don't leave him alone! I am sure you know this by now, that they can disappear on their own or be eaten by a bird!

Well I came home from my volunteer job to spray Ringo and he looked at me like "Oh hi mom, I was just eating the plant..." all colorful and everything. Hes shedding again so maybe that could be what I'm seeing
