Hi,
We have been the happy owners of a female veiled Yemen chameleon for over 18months,she is approximately 20months old and bought as a captive bred animal.
She is yet to lay any eggs and has until this past few days been healthy and happy.
She has been off her food for the last week and has become increasingly lethargic and seemingly struggling to climb, she has been on the floor of her vivarium much more than ever.
We introduced a pot for her to dig and lay eggs in some time ago,but she has made no effort to dig a nest as of yet, infact today was the first time she climed into it.
Her eyes are not as pronounced as they were and I noticed today she had a clear sticky substance on her back near her spine.
We have an appointment with the vet today, but would still like some advice from fellow owners.
