is my veiled cham sick?

this is Rango i got him 2 weeks ago and i went to texas for 4 days and didn’t have anyone to take care of him so i took him with me without his vivarium and lights, i made sure he was heated and took him out in the sun for a little bit the 4 days i went. when i came back i took him with me to go buy more crickets and the lady said he looked very dull and sick almost like he is dying but the thing is he gets dark when i take him out in the sun and when he’s under his basking lamp, when we got home from buying crickets he changed to his vibrant colors but now he’s dark again i’m not sure if he’s actually sick or he’s just basking can someone please help me does he look sick?..he’s shedding so i mist him more often than usual , i don’t want to lose him…i’m gonna take him to the vet soon so they can check him as well

He definitely needs a vet check up. His back leg has something going on and it looks like you need some husbandry fixes. Also, chameleons are dry shedders so do not mist more often when he is shedding. Please fill this out with detail

Hi! I’m not at all concerned about his colors. Those changes are perfectly normal. I am however concerned about his back leg and would like to know more about all of your care. I know you haven’t had him for very long, but I’d like to make sure that you have everything correct so that you and he share many happy and healthy years together. There’s so much bad info out there on keeping chameleons.
I’d really like if you could fill out the following (cut & paste) in as much detail as possible so we can make sure you haven’t fallen victim to the bad info. If you could provide pics of your entire enclosure and more of your cham, that would really help too.

I see there's already people helping you so I won't add too much. Just want to say his colors are fine. They get dark soaking the uvb & basking lights.
As for shedding They get very dull & dark at first like ashy. But yea you shouldn't be misting more. Will make it difficult to shed.
& you said you take him with you to get crickets? ... you shouldn't. These aren't pets you should tag along with you to the pet store. I could only imagine the stress that puts them under.
