Sleeping during the day is not normal and indicates something is wrong. Can you fill out the "How to ask for help forum". How long as he been doing this?
Yah Josh like Virgil said if this is going on during the day it's not a good sign. I'll leave another link for a how to ask for help copy it, and post your answers. I would be quick about it chameleons start showing signs of illness they have already ben sick awhile. They are pretty good at hiding their sickness especially to a new person that doesn't know what signs to look for. Hear is your link.https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/how-to-ask-for-help.66/

He appears to be curled up in a normal position for sleep, and may not respond to touch while he is sleeping. That's normal, and it's possible that he may still be resting at dawn. However, if he remains like this throughout the day and does not respond to touch or misting, I would take him to your vet right away.
Well they go to sleep at dawn they aren't nocturnal. You didn't clarify that in your original post. if that is indeed when they are sleeping that is perfectly normal.
