can anyone help?

the last few weeks my yemen has been doing soon strange things.. firing his tongue at the light?? when wondering the house he also fires his tongue to his own shaddow..

the only changes i have made lately is introduce him to wax worms, now he hardly eats.. at present it is one/two locusts, 3 crickets and one or two wax worms a day so i'm not overly worried yet, his poop etc is good colour but still a little worry at back of my mind, hoping this is due to winter climate

he is roughly 6/7 months old at a guess, in a good size enclosure with all the correct heat/light etc etc..

any ideas??

I guess he might be maturing late lol.
How bright is your bulb?
How close is he to it?

I have a 5%uvb and a 40 watt basking bulb which he attacks, he a good foot away from it.. like i say a rough guess at age, maturing.. is this why he is getting more agressive then?

They say chams reach maturity at around 4 months or so but some are different I guess like people!
It sounds like something is annoying him,
A chameleon wouldn't be aggressive in its own time unless provoked.

Take a picture of your set up so I can see.

I dont think anything is wrong with your veild.
They are notorius for fiesty and weird behaviour.
Smeagol grabs his tail with a back leg when he gets excitted and then cant
understand why he cant walk and how come his foot is stuck!!
He also flicks his tongue at stuff that's not there, I keep telling him; 'are you eating those invisible crickets again?'
