Is my Cham looking healthy ?

Hi ! Just wanted to ask how my little boy looks

From looks alone he seems to be healthy, no signs of mbd or stress indicators. If you want a more in depth answer you could fill out an infosheet and we could give you constructive criticism if needed:

Chameleon Info:
  • Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
  • Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
  • Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
  • Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
  • Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
  • Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
  • History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
  • Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
  • Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
  • Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
  • Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?

Chameleon Info:

  • male veiled , about 10 months old and been in my care for 6 months
  • Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
  • I handle my chameleon only when needed ( when deep cleaning the cage )
  • Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
  • crickets and dubia roaches , once a day as much as he likes , gutloading with greens and vegetables
  • Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
  • calcium with D3 and calcium without D3 , calcium everyday and the reptivite with d3 twice a month
  • Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
  • I use misting bottle , two times a day for about a minute . I do see him drinking
  • Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
  • dark brown to almost black with white parts . Has not been tested
  • History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
  • Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
  • its a screen cage with glass front
  • Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
  • 5.0 UVB linear and 75watts basking bulb
  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
  • basking spot is around 33 celsius and at night it drops down a few degrees . I measure my temps with temp gun
  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
  • humidity does not go over 50 % and I measure it with hygrometer
  • Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
  • I only use pothoses and schiflerra
  • Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
  • it is not near any of those , it is located at window height
  • Location - Where are you geographically located?
  • center of europe
 
Your husbandry sounds great! I don't think I see a single thing you could do any better. Your little guy sounds like he's in great hands :)
