Is my baby eating enough?

Hi everyone :)

So I have had my baby Loki for about a month now. He is roughly 2 months old (I'm guessing...he is tiny). He has really become a big part of our family in the short time he has been here.

I'm concerned about how little he eats after reading everything on here. I feed him once a day and normally put 5-7 crickets in the cage....he will eat two right away and then lose interest. After those two he will run away from any other crickets that come near him...and it looks like he is hyper ventilating until they go away.

I mist his cage 3-4 times a day and he drinks no problem. He is active and awake all day and sleeps at night, his color is vibrate and so it seems he is happy....I'm just concerned that he isn't eating enough.

Thanks :)

Post a pic, we can help with age. post a pic of him on your finger or something similar so we can compare size.

Also, what size crickets are you feeding?

This is a pic of him from Oct 28th,13

He is eating medium sized crickets (what the store I got him from was feeding him) with calcium and vitamin dusting

Looks to be around 2.5-3 months old.

hes probably not eatng as much because you feed bigger bugs.

like eating a bigger portion of food, youll eat less portions as the size gets bigger.

he might not like the bigger crickets, so I would try to get some smaller ones and see if he will eat more.
