I've used sterlite boxes for quarantine before, but you may also set a large bucket and then direct the light towArds the plant but I wouldn't put them together.

I had 2 choices either get the chameleons now or don't get them at all. The breeders schedule and my schedule didn't exactly line up.

Your only choice that would be logical, and safe, would be the rubbermaid solution. However, I still think you need to go as fast as possible with that enclosure so you can get her settled in and not so stressed.
