Is it possible to cross breed chameleons?

is it possible to cross breed chameleons? I've been researching this a little bit, because my friend and I both have chameleons but they're different breeds and we want to breed them. and the most I have found out is that it's frowned upon but is it possible is what I'm wondering so if you can shine any light on my situation that be great...

What do you mean by two different breeds? What exact type of chameleons do you have?
