....does anyone else REALLY get the urge to want to pick their Cham's shed?

My fiancee and I are both avid "pickers" and we both have to stay away from our Cham's whilst shedding to resist the crave. Its just so tempting!

(I will add that we wont do it and never have done)

Surely some of you must share this with us, or are we just weirdo's?

I think you're weirdos.............but I have put a little moisture cream on my males casque once before when it took too long!

My guy has had shed stuck on one of his back "Spines" for about a week now, and two tiny little bits on his eye. It bugs me but I imagine they'll pop off in time.

Right there with ya! It drives me crazy! I used to "help" my iguana shed all the time since their skin is so much tougher and comes off so easily. I leave the chams alone but hard to resist sometimes. :)

With you on that one, both my chams and my bearded dragon have all been shedding at the same time the other week now that was tough for me to leave them alone. I've never pulled the skin off but my god its so tempting.

I use to also help my iguana shed. One thing I've noticed is chameleons shed a lot quicker. Never tried pulling the shed skin off or have found a need to.

I like to laugh at the little sleeves they get, like when they shed only one foot, and it looks so much brighter.....so they leave it for a day to shed the rest :)

you guys must also have vicious scars from picking scabs on your bodies too you avid pickers you! lol. no i never get the urge to pull shed of, not only is it potentionaly dangerous, but when it comes to shed, thats their problem. i treat my animals like children and there are things they have to do on their own as well lol
