Is it just me....

I like that sound to.
Some times it has taken me five minutes to find my cham in his cage, and one time it took that long he was 5 inches from my face.
That happened to me this morning, I recently took in a large, aggressive male veiled that someone was rehoming and I couldn't find him. I could hear him puffing and hissing and me and then after looking for a bit, there he was on the front door of his enclosure right in front of my face.

My brother told me my cham got out. I took a quick glance and panicked. Spent 15 mins searching and finally found her sleeping in the leaves inside her cageo_O:ROFLMAO::coffee:

Chameleons can be very fast when they wants to be,Yall need to keep a good eyes watch ,especially when they not in their cages, thats when the missing and accidents do happen that way!!

I know how fast they can be and I'm always careful. I don't free range because I have cats and dogs too so if they're out, they're on me. The only time I can't find them is when they are nestled deep inside of their enclosure. I have them all in very large 4x4x6 homes that are set up like little jungles so sometimes it's hard to find them in there.

Great sound! I also love the look they give when they notice you watching and they stop chewing...that "can I help you?" look with half a cricket hanging out of their mouth hahaha

And I am PARANOID for no reason! Well with my first cham I attempted to sort of free range and we had a few escapes - to this day I am still not sure how he got out the one time. Anyways, now with my new little baby I am so afraid he somehow managed to squeeze through the screen or some other area that is just as physically impossible for him to get through. I know he isn't going anywhere, but I am not happy till I have a visual!
