Is he healthy?

Hey guys!
Hopefully this will be a short thread. I'm just a paranoid first-time chameleon mom, so I don't exactly know what's normal for a growing cham yet.

My guy is 8 months old and seems mostly healthy--he's active, he has insane grip strength, and he eats and poops a LOT! But I just noticed his casque was looking a little crooked.

Am I just being paranoid? Is that little kink on the top normal?

I've never owned a veiled so I'm no help but that first picture is way too cute!!!

I don't breed veiled but I have heard that a crooked casque can be a sign of MBD, metabolic bone disease. I don't know how crooked they have to be to be a problem. You might want to review your supplement schedule and check out how old your UVB is. Many need to be replaced after 6 mos.

That looks normal to me. Some casques are funnier looking than others. Just keep an eye on it, and make sure you are using the dusting and vitamin regiment on the care sheet thread. He looks very healthy to me! Hello, handsome boy!

Thanks guys! I do really hope this isn't a sign of MBD, so I'll just keep an eye on it.
I just replaced his UVB last week, so maybe it had started going bad earlier than expected. His crickets are always gutloaded and I dust them with Calcium every day, so hopefully it's no big deal!
