Is he eating while I'm gone?

I have a male veiled 3 months approx, I've been worried about him eating as of now because he is on a cricket strike or so I think. Mon-fri I work 7a-4p so he is alone a solid 9hrs of the day. Seems as if he doesn't eat in front of me anymore he use to every morning in front of me almost as soon as I put cricks in his cup now only time I see him eat is when I get home from work and give him a wax worm or 2. I was honestly thinking of setting a go pro up to monitor him as I am not with him most of the day. Since he seems to only eat the wax worms... I've got some silks on the way as there are better nutritionally to see if he'll eat them since he seems to be on a worm kick. Not sure if he's been eating the crickets just because there are usually some in his cage when I get home from work and some dead cricks on the bottom of the cage.

Anyone else set up go pros on ther Cham monitor them when gone lol any advice/should I be worried?

Also he hasn't lost weight and seems healthy, colors are great and he does a lot of roaming in his cage very active at times when not basking

Why not cup feed and count whatever is left?
You will also notice a lot of feeders running around if he doesnt eat them a few days.

They can go without food a long time if needed so there is no immediate reason for concern if they refuse food a few days and he looks healthy and active otherwise.

You can put a camera the fun of it tho...o_O

Thanks, I do both cricket cup and let him hunt. Sometimes the cricks get out of the cup making it not accurate for me to count I've tried lol. I don't want to use a larger cup as I don't want him to fall in and not be able to get out. But he seems healthy and happy as of now and I'm assuming if he's hungry enough he will eventually eat. I'm hoping. Hopefully these silkworms come in today and I can test them out with him!

Thanks for the input I might actually try a larger cup and count the cricks if I really get worried he's not eating.

What do you use as a feeder cup? I have a sunny d bottle with a hole in the side with mesh in the back some crickets get lucky and make it out most don't, that's why I can't get an accurate count!
