Is Crawling Ivy Okay?

i was thinking of placing a type of small leaf ivy in the cage and have it grow onto the inner walls to hold more humidity and make a more natural appearing environment. i was wondering if anyone has tried this before and if thats actually a really bad idea as far as safety plants are concerned. i havent looked that much into it yet cuz the idea just popped into my head, but i thought i'd see if anyone had any advice here. thanks a bunch

Yes ivy is poisonous..:/ so bad idea but you can hang a pathos at a corner and it will do the same thing you want the ivy to do...only it will not climb but hang downward! plus the chams love pathos! what i do to keep humidity in is put a towel behind the cage and it keeps the humidity in for a longer period of time! :] i use a green towel and the plants cover most of the towel up. what doesnt get covered you cannot tell because it is green so it is hard to tell it is a towel....
