So chamelia is around 6 months old and she seems to be wondering around alot more lately is it a bit cold for her maybe? Or is it possible she needs more space? My male has outgrown his enclosure and his new one is still being sprayed but i thought she would be ok in hers:( its a 30x30x45 terrarium

my female is in a 24x24x48 and its more than enough room. Shes loves it.

my female veiled i keep at 89 degrees

you can try warming it up a bit to see if thats the issue. I wouldnt go over like 95 that seems a bit much she will be thirsty and more hungry often

Is 89 not a bit high for a female? Will that not make her start producing eggs? Is yours going through chameleon puberty yet?

84F is the right basking temperature for a female that is in good health and not breeding.

She may be wandering looking for a place to lay eggs

My last female was kept at around 83 - 84 degrees and she only laid one clutch of infertiles in her 3 years of life. I found mine used to roam a lot and try to get out of the viv when they were receptive. Sounds like your girl is growing up. Does she have her big girl colours yet?

I thought that was right:) she hasent got eggs although she did see my male the other day when i took him out could this be it? And here she is

yeah the high temp could produce eggs faster. Shes about 6 months.
She likes it hot though ive dropped her temperatures and she ends up all over her cage the 89 degrees she has her favorite places and has been like this for months :D
shes a happy camper
