It is an extra 25-30 per month. I believe it is madatory for them as well, so you can't just skip out on it...

Do you like the camera on the iPhone? I know it's only like 3 MP which is low for current technology, but I heard it's super quality for being only 3 megapixels.

wifi is different from that. wifi is free. it is just linking up to wireless internet source close to you through a router. but the 25 bucks is for internet through the phone service, so you an have internet where ever you have service. but wifi you only have in some places.

To summarize, you are paying $25/month for internet, but it's a built-in iPhone charge, so that $25 is not above and beyond the monthly charges they quote you when you sign on.
Brock, I've taken some decent pictures with the iPhone camera. I find they often have a "hazy" quality to them - something a bit odd with the light - but I have the first generation one.

HOWEVER... AT&T requires you get a data service plan on your phone, you pay $110.00ish a month depending on your service... its unlimited internet however...

$110 if you have the second step service plan.. I believe it has 900 anytime minutes, unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited mobile to mobile. AND you prolly have the second tier text plan... I used to have this one.

I pay about 88ish dollars for the smaller plan... but I don't talk much on my phone, mostly email and some text. So it works out OK because I have a shit ton of roll over minutes if I decide to get chatty.

If you have an old iPhone your internet charge was 25 dollars... the new one is 30 dollars.
