Introductions!

[Allegra and Nix]

I just wanted to say hello- I've been lurking these forums for a while and they've been super helpful with research both before I got my baby whenever I had questions after the fact.

This is my baby. His full name is "Richard Nixon The Former Thirty-Seventh President Of The United States Of America" But I tend to call him Nix or sometimes just baby


Nix enjoys crickets, Phoenix worms, and waxworms. Every once in a while I give baby a mealworm, but I try to keep his diet on the squishy side. He's doing great- better than I expected- but we still need to work on getting him used to hands. He's okay being handled, it's the process of getting him out of the cage that stresses him out.

I watched a video of a chameleon standing on his owners finger popping bubbles it was adorable. My Seymore doesn't like being handled at all. He gets all polka dotted up . He's very intimidating at times.

I've been giving seymore salad since I found out he could have certain veggies and fruits. He loves greens. He's much bigger than Mr.Nixon though. I fed the same way you are for 7 months or so .
