Hello everyone!
I live in a place where there are a few kinds of beautiful wild reptiles that are exclusive to this area. An example of those is the veiled chameleon. Another example is a kind of rock agama. These are really beautiful but they have always been wild animals. No one ever has kept any as pets. My question is, is there a way to introduce these animals to the exotic pet community? They are VERY common here and not endangered in any way. So I thought maybe catching some and breeding them in captivity would be a good idea? And maybe even try to bring some to the US since I'll be studying there next year.
Another animal is some type of huge black scorpions with amazing large claws. They look a lot like emperors but they have yellow legs. I have read that their venom is not harmful to humans and their sting is not very painful. However I've never tried to make sure lol. Again they can be found very easily here.
I am NOT, at all, trying to sell these animals or collect some money from them. Even if they do become popular between owners.
I just want to introduce them to owners and experts, who might be able to study them and understand how they can be cared for as pets.
Please give me your opinions and any information that may help
