I feel really bad because their names arent set in stone yet... but i couldnt hold back the introduction much longer :D

Im thinking Marlow for the male, but not sure for the female... possibly Minnie

Here they are, my new R.Brevs. I didnt want to disturb them as i feel they need more time to settle in.

The little lads second night, all tucked in

Not a great image of the female, she has found a nice hiding place while sleeping.

She can be seen a bit better here through their enclosure.

They arrived on Tuesday morning and spent the rest of the day rehydrating and relaxing after their journey. When i first got them out of their travel box they were both a light green in colour but once placed on a twig the male became a nice brown and the female darkened into a deeper green.

The female was quick to hunt down a cricket, but i have yet to see the male eat.

I noticed last night the female has a lovely sleeping pattern, it looks like a leaf vein down her middle and a darker rim that goes over her back and under her belly :D

Could someone tell me the colour of their tongue please :D I saw the female at the start of shooting hers this morning, the tip looked orange... it was over so quick i couldnt be sure.

Updates will follow!

YAY! :D Pics at last! The female is certainly well camouflaged - it took me ages to spot her, lol! They are so cute! Congratz Gary, and I look forward to hearing all about these two!:D

Congrats! - They're interesting little animals. I don't know about the tongue color, but the insides of their mouths are blackish.

Congrats on your new pygmy's, I really like your set up its nice. I cant wait to get mine probably tomarow :) anyway enjoy!

Thanks everyone :D

Tiff, you know me, more updates will follow as always... and hopefully some better pics in a few days time :)

I love them to bits already... before they arrived even, just doing the enclosure had me excited.
Its a 24l 'really useful box' i picked up in Staples, its a stationary store over here in the UK

Good luck with your little guys Ange, make sure you make a post about them

Yes will i think i just finished setting up my enclosure i'll post some pics tomarow, im picking them up as long as i dont go snowboarding.. im happy for u and i cant wait to show mine :)

Don't worry about the lag in naming...after all, the CHAMS don't give a hoot what you decide to call them! You can also call their names over and over and all they will do is watch your lips move.
